The service and your agreement
Next Good Session is provided by McMac Media LLC, PO Box 2698, Montauk, NY 11954. Contact contact@nextgoodsession.com for support. NGS helps you plan workouts, log sessions and understand progress. It is not a medical service or an emergency service. Read the companion fitness notice and privacy notice.
The cloud enrollment flow asks you to affirmatively agree to these terms before selecting “Connect this iPhone’s summaries.” It separately asks you to acknowledge the notices and consent to cloud collection. Reviewing a notice does not waive privacy rights or authorize optional sharing. Circle sharing, external-agent permissions and marketing remain separate choices. NGS records the accepted versions and time of your enrollment decisions.
You must be at least 18 and located in the United States to enroll in the initial service. Keep account information accurate, protect access to your Apple account and report suspected misuse. Do not share authentication codes or approve an agent request you did not start.
The Apple standard application EULA applies to the licensed application. These terms supplement that agreement for NGS services. These terms do not replace Apple’s agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights.
Membership and guest access
The current app requires an active Apple membership or eligible guest access for its main planning, training and progress screens after onboarding. Local logging can work offline while access remains valid; offline availability does not mean the service is permanently free. Existing records are not automatically erased when access expires. An active workout remains available, and Data & recovery at the paywall provides local data management. Cloud connection & privacy at the paywall provides a route to cloud export, account deletion, withdrawal and agent-access controls independently of paid access.
Paid memberships are purchased through Apple. The purchase screen identifies the included features, price, billing period and applicable renewal terms before confirmation. An auto-renewing Apple subscription continues under those terms unless canceled. Use the app's Restore purchases control for eligible existing purchases. Manage subscriptions through Apple subscription settings, and request refunds through Apple's refund process. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. Deleting your NGS account or the app does not cancel your Apple subscription.
An eligible Circle invitation may offer one calendar month of guest access when you do not have a current paid membership and have not already used the recorded invitation benefit. You must explicitly choose activation when accepting the invitation; simply receiving an invitation does not start the month. The benefit begins when the server successfully accepts that activation. The server calculates one calendar month in UTC, keeping the time of day and using the next month's last day if the starting day does not exist there. The app displays your actual ending date. Your training-week time zone does not change this expiry calculation.
The guest benefit ends at the paywall and never schedules a charge or automatically converts to a paid subscription. A paid purchase requires a separate Apple confirmation. Another invitation, an acceptance retry or account recreation while the benefit record remains does not reset an already used benefit. The retained anti-reuse record and cleanup rules are described in the privacy notice, subject to applicable deletion rights. Do not interpret this as a promise of renewed eligibility after retention expires.
Features requiring current account, sharing or membership confirmation need a connection. Guest access can be confirmed offline only for a bounded period, no longer than seven days or the guest expiry, whichever comes first. The app may require reconnection after device restart or an unreliable time check. An active workout remains available.
Circle and agents
Circle participation requires an invitation and acceptance. Invite people you know and have a legitimate reason to contact about training or accountability. Do not use invitations for unsolicited bulk messages, harassment or impersonation. Share only information you are entitled to share and respect another member's decision to decline or leave. Report abuse to contact@nextgoodsession.com.
Agent access is separately approved. You choose the available categories an agent may read for the training assistance you request. A grant lasts up to 30 days, and you can revoke future access in NGS once the server confirms the change. The current integration provides read-only goals, streak and workout availability. It does not permit changing plans, recording sessions, purchases or access to your Circle members' data. Goal titles can contain health information you enter.
Each external provider has its own account requirements, availability, terms and information handling, which should be reviewed before connecting. Revocation or expiry does not automatically erase information already received. Deletion requests are separate; NGS will carry out applicable duties to notify recipients and handle requests as described in the privacy notice. These technical limits do not waive anyone's legal obligations.
Appropriate use and your content
You retain your rights in the information and content you provide. You permit McMac Media LLC and its service providers to process it as needed to provide requested features, honor your sharing choices, protect the service and comply with law, as described in the privacy notice. This permission does not replace any separately required privacy consent and does not grant a right to sell your training data or use it for advertising.
Do not access another person's account, bypass security or rate limits, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, or submit content that violates another person's rights. Report copyright concerns to contact@nextgoodsession.com.
Recommendations, reliability and changes
Plans, progress summaries, streaks, forecasts and agent suggestions support your decisions; they do not guarantee a result, establish medical readiness or replace professional advice. Check suggestions against your actual condition, equipment and surroundings. A streak is a motivational record, not an instruction to train through pain, illness or unsafe conditions.
Some features rely on connectivity and external providers. Availability and data freshness can vary. Review displayed sync and access status. The cloud foundation does not provide a complete backup or restoration service for your workout history. Keep any exports you need securely.
We may restrict access to respond to misuse, security incidents or legal requirements. We will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address an issue when appropriate, subject to urgent security or legal constraints. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. You can stop using connected features, revoke sharing or request cloud deletion as described in the privacy notice.
Material changes to these terms will be communicated with a new version and effective date before they apply, except where urgent legal or security circumstances require earlier action. Where renewed acceptance is required, it will be requested before the affected features continue. Changes do not remove rights that law does not allow us to exclude. A terms update does not supply consent to a new health-data use.
Disputes and rights
Contact contact@nextgoodsession.com if you have a dispute about NGS. Contacting support does not prevent you from seeking a legal remedy or exercising a privacy right. These NGS service terms do not require arbitration, waive participation in a class action or impose a general obligation to indemnify NGS. They do not add a separate damages cap to Apple's application license.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Apple's standard EULA continues to govern its applicable licensed rights and obligations; these service terms supplement it and do not purport to replace Apple's agreement or its mandatory requirements.
